We are going off to Taiwan-Taipei end of this month! Yayy! :)

Our ID finally got in touch with the people in charge of the rectification works and got them down last Saturday. Apparently they flew him aeroplanes a few times but he was sick and away and didn’t realise what had happened.

All the rectification works will be settled FOC and all thanks to Kelvin! ;)

Ugh!

After we moved in we realised that there are some teething problems…

1) The silicon for the Bellari hood came off again and this is the 2nd time!

2) Our white false ceiling paint is turning brownish along the lines…

3) Hb found out that the walls near the mosaic platform might be leaking!

We feedback to our ID kelvin a few weeks already (coming to 3 weeks in fact) but still, everytime he promised that he will get people to come up during the weekend…

The weekends passed without any news from them. Just like this week! :(

Misubishi Electric responded and got one of their Mangers, Mr K to attend to us. He called but sad to say, I was very disappointed with him. He didn’t listen to what was the problem and insisted that I am to make an appointment with “the girl outside” for his people to check what is wrong with the circuit board before he can access the situation. However we will have to pay for the costs incurred for the initial assessment. Mr K repeated this (“call the girl to make an appointment with us”) a few times until I got fed up and asked him who the hell is the girl he is referring to? He replied impatiently that is the operator sitting outside of his office (as if I am working there and knows that there is this girl sitting outside his office who makes appointments). I gave up on him and told him I would check with hb first.
I told hb what happened and he was upset over the kind of lousy after-sales attitude and immediately wrote another letter to ME. This time round they agreed to change without needing prior assessment and also, they will waver all the transport and service charges. However we will have to foot the cost of the new circuit board.

They came and finally replaced the circuit board. Nevertheless, I can say that I will hesitate to get another ME product anymore after such a bad encounter with their manager. How did they train their mangers to speak to their customers like that?!

We noticed that our aircon in our living room is not cold even thou we have switched them on for a couple of hours and decided to call Natural Cool to look into it.

Then came the unpleasant surprise – the PCB unit for the system 2 aircon was actually spoilt! Thus only one unit has been working which is why the aircon wasn’t cold at all!

Damn! The warranty has just been lapsed and the most frustrating thing is that we hardly on the system 2 in our living room at all (its less then 5 times!) and now the aircon is spoilt and we have to pay for it! :(

I decided to write to Misubishi Electric but honestly I do not think that they will entertain us. This is going to be the last time we are using their products if they do not do anything about it!

We are really very very disappointed with their product. It seems really ridiculous that such a thing can happen to us.

we are 1st-time customers of Mitsubishi Aircon and have brought a system 2 for our living room. We have just renovated the place and have not moved in until 3 weeks ago.

 

However to our surprise that the system 2 unit in our living room was actually spoilt (AC-MITE-CU005001 MUX-19TV condensing) after we noticed that the aircon is not cold at all despite being used for less then 5 times. We called the Natural Cool maintenance and was informed that the circuit board was actually already been burnt-out and hence that is why only one (instead of 2 units) is working which explains why the aircon wasn’t cool. We are pretty upset as to why this could have happened and that since we have actually installed the system 2 (by Natural Cool) in end 2006 and now we are no longer eligible for the warranty since the period has just elapsed. We feel that since the system 2 unit was very seldom in use so it could not have spoilt so soon and the only reason we can find is that it could be a manufacturing defect that causes the PCB to be burnt.

 

Thurs, we hope that the PCB unit can be replaced without cost incurred to us and trust that Mitsubishi Electric can look into this and give us a favorable reply soon.

 

It has been a looong busy month for us…moving into our new place and raising our little princess at the same time. However, 99% of the credit goes to mum for looking after our little one while both of us are busy at work.

We really missed seeing her taking her clumsy baby steps becoz she is now skipping and flying all over the place.

See how the 2 hunks (i.e hb and bro) take turns to feed her? She is so naughty and even climbs up and down mum’s face. Poor mummy. :P However, she is so intelligent at her age and will fly to anyone calling out her name. She picks up tricks very fast too!
