I have been busy with my Home Renovation Blog lately. For new home owners, you can check out the following posts. 🙂
I was also busy with another new blog. 🙂
It has been nearly a year since we stayed at Holiday Inn Hotel (Melaka). Back then it was a quick 2 day stay. Thank goodness that it was a short stay since there was a big medical conference going on and therefore the entire place was teeming with losta of people.
It wasn’t really pleasant experience (imagine having to share a packed lift, packed restaurant, bar etc) and furthermore, we do not have a chance to fully explore the hotel. Wasted trip – in a way.
However, we are back this year – all thanks to the fact that the other hotels are booked. 😦
To comfort myself, I googled and noted that there are quite a few recent positive reviews for the hotel and that the Sirocco Italian Restaurant is actually very highly raved. So hopefully, our stay at Holiday Inn Hotel (Melaka) will be more pleasant.
Okay back to my Renovation Blog, my viewership has hit 156,000! I am very elated over this result since I only started to seriously blog appropriately over a year ago. Heh…
Anyway, for those who have missed, here are the 2 latest posts:
– Overseeing and managing your Interior Designer/Contractor;
– Ways to save during a Renovation.
Do stay tuned!
I have just updated my renovation blog with a post on Home Renovation Checklist.
You may also download the checklist here.
Btw, Happy New Year everyone! Thanks for visiting my humble blog. 🙂
I was kinda shocked that most people aren’t aware that their CPF contribution will decrease as they age. In addition, the CPF contribution cap is set at $5,000 – in simple terms mean that even if your income has increased beyond $5,000, the CPF contribution will not increase.
Therefore, I have decided to come up with a simple spreadsheet which shows how the CPF contribution of an ordinary Singapore couple, with a combined gross income of $4500, will look like. I have made an assumption that there is a wage increase of $100 per year for this couple, and there is no income ceiling for them.
