January 26 – Friday

Kelvin kept his words and made a lot of arrangements in order for us to meet the deadline. For this we are really eternally grateful to him for his dedication and responsible attitude.

We came down to specifically take pictures of the nearly completed wardrobe, feature wall and kitchen cabinets so as to put into our beloved reno blog.

Alas! We spotted a couple of defects (mostly for the wardrobe) and will point out to Kelvin on the following soon:

There are white portions between the joining lines of the black laminate and glass and they are quite visible.

There is a sharp dent on the laminate one of the doors and a big white circle (not sure what it is) behind one of the glass.

Wood can be seen between the laminate and the long white furry dunno-what-thingy.

There are a few other minor defects such as the carpentry workers apparently punched through the walls when they did up the feature wall and so, the wall of our study room got a lobang liao.

However, I think Kelvin would be the most and terribly upset when we point out that the carpentry workers actually made a big dent between 2 tiles at the corner of our living room to him.

Nevertheless, we are very upset when we tried the Bellari Hood becoz it has absolutely NO suction power. Its so called hood extraction rate of 800m3/hr cannot even suck up a piece of paper, let alone the wooden board demo they showed us last time!

Were we being cheated into thinking that we got a good deal?! Ugh! We are going to call them up tomorrow and get them to come down to find out why!

Nevertheless, we took a few more of the pictures and aside from the defects, the place is coming together quite cozy and nicely. 😉
